How affiliate links work here

Certain links on Paleo Life Coach that point to products or online stores are affiliate links. Buy through one and the seller may pay us a commission. Your price does not change.

An affiliate link is an ordinary link with a tracking code added to the address. The code tells the store which website sent the shopper, and the store records it, usually with a cookie of its own. We are not told who the shopper is, and we receive no payment details.

What they don’t change

Commissions, along with advertising, help keep our recipes and guides free to read. Neither one decides which foods, tools or products we recommend, and neither affects our editorial content.

A recipe does not need a particular brand of almond flour, coconut aminos or ghee to work. Whether an ingredient counts as paleo is decided by what is in it, following the approach set out in our Editorial Standards.

Links that are not affiliate links

Most outside links on this site are citations. Links to PubMed studies, USDA FoodData Central, the Harvard Nutrition Source, the Food and Drug Administration and similar sources are there so you can check a nutrition figure or a claim for yourself. We earn nothing when you follow them.

Affiliate links and display ads are separate things

The banner and in-article adverts on Paleo Life Coach are placed by Google AdSense. Google chooses them, and we are paid for displaying them, not for anything you buy. A meal kit or supplement in one of those adverts is not something we have tried or endorsed. Our Cookie Policy explains how to turn off personalized ads.

Your choice as a shopper

You never have to use a link on this site to buy anything. Searching for a product yourself, or picking it up at your usual grocery store, makes no difference to what you can read here.
